Pyrite in Schist in Sterling and Amethyst with a 14K Bezel, Pendant (or Pin)

This enigma combines metallic brilliance of iron pyrite embedded in schist, with a delicate amethyst cabochon wrapped in a gold bezel. The interplay of the pyrite's reflective surface against the schist's layered texture is captured in this metal composition, as the amethyst adds a pale purple accent in a classic Courtney design. Wear as pin or pendant.

(For the brooch style, the pyrite in schist will be on top because of the location of the pin back.)
